Education & Training

The Western Australian Energy Research Alliance offers an education and training program primarily through The University of Western Australia and Curtin University of Technology.  The Education Program is a collaboration in oil and gas engineering education between the School of Mechanical Engineering at UWA and the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Curtin University of Technology.  The collaboration aims to harness research opportunities and to draw on complementary skills that
will work to benefit both institutions and Western Australia as a whole.

WA:ERA’s education and training programs provide:

• technology transfer to customers for sponsored R&D projects;
• basic to advanced technical competency programs;
• oil and gas masters program MOGE offered at UWA; 
  petroleum engineering masters programs MPetEng/MPetWellEng offered at Curtin Universiy
• customised training programs based on a customer's specific requirements.
