The Western Australian Energy Research Alliance (WA:ERA) combines the multi-disciplinary expertise of three established research institutions: The University of Western Australia, CSIRO and Curtin University of Technology.

Based at the Australian Resources Research Centre (ARRC) at Perth’s Western Australian Technology Park, the Alliance is one of the principal hubs in the State’s oil and gas technology cluster.  The three research organisations share knowledge, skills and facilities. Through the Alliance, these organisations deploy their collective world-scale resources on oil and gas industry research and education challenges.

Working in partnership with companies and government as part of Western Australia’s expanding energy sector, WA:ERA is rapidly developing into one of the world’s leading, and easily accessible, oil and gas research organisations. WA:ERA’s single point access to the combined skill base of CSIRO, Curtin, and UWA makes it simple to build effective long-term research partnerships.
