The Western Australian Energy Research Alliance’s (WA:ERA) mission is:

Through collaboration, to create in Perth a world class Energy Technology Centre acknowledged for the provision of premium quality research, development and education services and the delivery of technology based solutions to the global energy industry, and particularly the West Australian oil and gas industries.

The Centre aims to be in the world’s top two or three oil and gas research laboratories, positioning Perth and Western Australia as a leading hub for the international oil industry.

 

WA:ERA has three strategic research goal:
         1. Maximise Australia’s liquids self sufficiency.
         2. Monetise Western Australia’s stranded gas.
         3. Ensure the sustainable development of Western Australia’s oil and gas industry.
