Background
Prior to his position as a lecturer with The University of Western Australia as a Lecturer for Metamorphic Petrology, Eric completed his PhD in 2003 at The University of Michigan where he was also a Graduate Student Instructor for Environmental Geology, Structural Geology and for a Climate Change program. He was also a field camp instructor for advanced field geology in Jackson, Wyoming and was on a Thesis Committee at Universidaded de São Paulo, Brazil. He has authored and co-authoed over 22 publications and has numerous abstracts and presentations. He is an Associate Editor of Gondwana Research and has peer reviewed papers for scientific journals including Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Geology, Earth Science Reviews, Precambrian Research, Geological Society of America Bulletin, Journal of Geophysical Research, Tectonics, Geological Society of London, Geophysical Journal International, Terra Nova, Journal of Structural Geology, and Journal of South American Earth Sciences.
