Background

Prior to his current position as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Curtin University, Hongwei was the Principal Researcher and Task Leader of the CRC for Coal in Sustainable Development (CCSD).  He has also been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, CRC for Clean Power from Lignite, Department of Chemical Engineering at Monash University
