Background
Peter is currently the Acting Head of School of Earth and Environment at the University of Western Australia as well as Director of the Techtonics Special Research Centre. He has research interests in palaeogeography and basin architecture and has worked on conodont biostratigraphy and on Paleozoic carbonate platform sections in eastern North America. He completed his Bachelor of Science and PhD at The University of Sydney. Prior to his position at UWA he was a lecturer of Applied Geology at Curtin of Technology.
