Background
Prior to his current position at UWA, Brendan was working on the WAERA MRF sponsored project studying oil water emulsions. Prior to this Brendan was lecturing in Analytical Chemistry at Murdoch University where he also conducted post-Doctoral research into microbial degradation of heavy waste oil in oil refinery storage tanks.
Brendan has worked for Agilent Technologies providing practical training courses and seminars for their various analytical instruments in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and India. He has also worked for a small oil and gas company to set up an oil analysis laboratory in Nigeria and to train staff.
