Background

Dr Pareek has been leading the Chemical Plant Design Unit at Curtin for the past four years.  He is the Team Leader for CFD for Process Systems Computations Laboratory (of which he is co-founder), where currently he is supervising a group of over 20 researchers.  His expertise is in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and Process Simulations and Design.  His mission is to enable chemical process industry to realize greater benefits of modern process simulation and design tools (e.g. FLUENT and HYSYS).  He has conducted extensive applied research/consultancy for several companies such as Aker Kvaerner Subsea, BP, Chevron, FMC and Woodside.
